Qatar Charity Strengthens Partnerships with International Organizations and Charities to Relieve Victims of Earthquake

Urgent Relief offered by Q.C. for the victims of the Pakistan earthquake has broadened the scope of partnerships and co-operation with International Humanitarian Organizations and local charities in Pakistan and Qatar; besides, official circles, ministries and the two embassies of Qatar and U.A.E in Islamabad.

Qatar Charity has entered into partnerships with:

  • UNICEF and Pakistani Department of Health in the project of ''Emergency Medical Units and Groups'', which offers its services in Muzaffarabad and Kashmir.

 

 

  • Qatari Red Crescent, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies in some areas of Mashera and Betigram Provinces.
  • Life for Relief and Development Org., UNICEF, WFP, the Federal Emergency Relief commission and Afghan Commissionerate for establishing a permanent camp for Emigrants under discussion and execution in the North Province of Pakistan.
  • Pakistani Department of Social Affairs (Qatar Embassy) and U.A.E Embassy in Islamabad and local Pakistani charities participating in the distribution of direct relief financed by Qatar Charity (including blankets, tents, food, gas oven, winter clothes and medicines).
  • Qatar Embassy granted Q.C. 230 tents while U.A.E. Embassy offered 500 tents.
  • In reality, relief and development projects that are carried out via partnership plays active role due to co-operation in the field of charitable & humanitarian work.
