Pioneering Initiative

Qatar Charity started "Orphans Care Program" in 1998.It constituted one of the aspects of humanitarian task towards orphans of the Afghan War. Then, it expanded to cover sponsoring thousands of orphans in Africa, Asia and Europe.

At the same time, Qatar Charity spares no effort to take care of the orphans inside the State of Qatar.

Thus, it has become a model pattern for charities concerning "Orphans Care" worldwide.

Qatar Orphans

Q.C. has had the best orphan sponsorship project inside Qatar, since this project started in March 2003. Sponsorship Value is Q.R.395 per month.

Q.C. has sponsored 208 orphans to date. It renders integrated services that cover orphans' basic needs.

Orphans Outside Qatar

Orphans sponsorship constitutes one of the glittering aspects in the State of Qatar and its generous people, who lend a hand to their needy brothers in the Arab and Muslim world.

Number of sponsored orphans: 17412

Geographical area: 32 countries in Asia, Africa and Europe, more care is to be taken of Tsunami.

Sponsorship value is Q.R.100 per month.
