Qatar Charity Carries out Charitable Project in Co-operation With “Life Org.” in Pakistan

In the field of supporting the needy families in Muslim countries, Qatar Charity carried out a charitable project in co-operation with “Life for Relief and Development” in Pakistan last week.

Around 2000 families benefited from this project in the area of Meera in Shanglah district .This project aims at providing the needy with food supplies. Such supplies include 18000 Kg of rice, 5000 Kg of cooking oil, 12000Kg of lentils, 12000 Kg of sugar, 4000 Kg of dates, and 2000 Kg of salt.

This joint project constitutes a form of dual co-operation between the two charities within the global campaign emerged immediately after the disastrous earthquake that took place in Pakistan.

By the way, Qatar Charity plans to distribute a good number of sacrifices among the needy Pakistani families.

In this project, each family received an average of 9 Kg of rice, 6 Kg of lentils, 6 Kg of sugar, 2Kg of dates, one Kg of salt and 2.5 Kg of cooking oil.

It took nine working days to prepare, package, transport and distribute such supplies .Pakistani Department of Health provided this campaign with highly –qualified doctors and nurses.
