Qatar Charity Allocates Q.R. 5.380.000 To Support Palestinians.
Qatar Charity, in cooperation with Qatar Authority for Charitable Activities,
has
allocated the sum of Q.R 5.380.00 as a first donation to support the Palestinian
People.
This support aims at providing emergency
relief that includes basic consumer goods,
medicines and so on, via carrying out “Food
Basket Project”; each basket costs Q.R.200
(US$.50).
Around 7000 families will benefit from this
project.
In addition to this, the Charity will
distribute good quantities of basic treatment
requirements and medical materials.
At the same time, this emergency relief will
support 1027 needy families and 711 persons with
special needs.
 Engineer
‘Abdullah Hussein al-Ni‘mah, the Executive
Manager of the Qatar Charity, stated that: “The
difficult situation that our Palestinian
brothers are experiencing requires: (1)full
cooperation and an urgent stand from all circles
and organizations of the civil society in order
to face the catastrophe which threatens them (
the Palestinians),and (2) urging benefactors to
appropriate their Zakah money and charity for
the support of the Palestinian People.”
