Qatar Charity Offers Humanitarian Aid
To Sa’da in Yemen

Qatar Charity has started offering food supplies assistance to some hundreds families in Sa’da province. This step comes in the framework of the Charity’s general project that includes offering food and corporeal assistance, in addition to the execution of developmental plans such as rehabilitation of schools, clinics, renovation of establishments and the infrastructure ruined by the armed clashes in the area.

Mr. ‘Abdullah Husain al-Ni’mah, the General Manager of the Charity ,said : ‘ This move represents one of the main goals of the Charity concerning supporting social stability .It also harmonizes with the Qatar’s efforts concerning the establishment of security and peace among Yemeni Brothers in Sa’da region.’

‘ More than 55 thousand persons left their homes in Sa’da and resorted to camps or to their relatives’ houses, which led to some economic burdens to those families. In truth, Qatar Charity concentrates on the inviting families and their guests (the displaced) in the following seven territories: Kattaf, Saha, Mejaz, Sa’da, Hidan Saqain and Razeh. The Charity has carried some field surveys in 23 regions in the above-mentioned territories in order to know their urgent needs and to promptly support them.’ he added.
