In its Ongoing Campaign for Gaza, Qatar Charity Collects Q.R. 3.000.000

In its ongoing relief campaign for the besieged people in Gaza Strip, Qatar Charity has collected Q.R. 3.000.000.

On this occasion, Mr. ‘Abdullah Husein al-Ni’mah, the General Director of the Charity, has earnestly thanked benefactors and donors for their generous donations which will be used to support educational and healthy projects, in addition to the foodstuffs project “The Basket of Good for Gaza”.

He has especially referred to two Qatari trade establishments for donating half million each, urging the others to follow suit.

It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity has recently launched “The Basket of Good for Gaza” project which aims at meeting the daily essential needs for 5000 families so as to lighten the human suffering which the Gazians face due to siege.

Each basket contains: flour, rice, sugar, cooking oil, olive oil, milk powder, dairy products, cheese, tea, chicken, lentils, and chick-peas and so on

In the same vein, it is possible to sponsor a family for three months via “Help Basket” for Q.R.3000 or for six months via “Righteousness Basket” for Q.R. 6000 or for one year via “Grant Basket” for Q.R.12000..

According to the Department of Catastrophes and Alertness at the Charity, Q.R. 4.000.000 were appropriated to offer medical and educational assistance.

Mr.al-Ni’mah urged donors to continue their relief support since Gazians face very difficult circumstances.

Furthermore, it is possible to pay the basket’s value in Gaza in foodstuffs or via paying an amount of money for the project in the headquarter of the Charity in Doha or any of its branches or to its field collectors at malls and trade centers or the Charity’s accounts with Qatar Islamic Bank, Masraf al-Rayyan and International Islamic Bank.
