Project Description

The project provides an attractive learning environment for students of both sexes at the primary level, helping them to continue their education and eliminate illiteracy. The construction of a primary school that consists of the following: - 4 classrooms; - Administration office with an area of (16) m 2 - Teachers office / offices (1) and an area of (20) m 2 each. - Number of bathrooms (4) and the area of each bathroom (18) m 2: One bathroom serves 30 pupils. - Afforestation and green spaces. (As possible). - Open terrace for the school theater. - Perimeter fence.

Project Goals

The project will contribute to ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and enhance opportunities for primary education for both sexes by building gender-sensitive educational facilities and persons with disabilities, and creating an effective and safe learning environment.

Project Justifications

There are 303 million children worldwide (ages 5-17) out of school. • India has a large number of school-age children out of school • Lack of decent educational institutions, despite the high number of school-age people. • Lack of demand for education in many areas due to difficult conditions and lack of adequate primary schools.

Expected Results

A gender-sensitive school for persons with disabilities and an effective and safe learning environment. Low illiteracy rate in the targeted area. Increasing the proportion of children of both sexes enrolling and completing their education.
