Qatar Charity employees participate in blood donation drive

Qatar Charity (QC) participated in the Blood Donation Campaign, which was launched by the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), in collaboration with the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) Blood Donor Center under the slogan “Save A Life”.

The drive, organized at Qatar Charity headquarters, witnessed wide participation of its eligible employees, who donated blood to help patients at local clinics and hospitals, believing in giving back to the community and promoting humanitarian cooperation among the members of society.

The participation of Qatar Charity in this campaign falls within the framework of its efforts aimed at strengthening its social role towards the local community, promoting the culture of voluntary blood donation, and educating the public and its employees about the importance of this humanitarian action, and contributing to supporting the efforts made by HMC in providing blood units to those in need.

Qatar Charity staff expressed their pleasure at participating in the blood donation drive. “The participation in such events is a humanitarian and ethical duty to save the lives of those in need of blood,” said the blood donor Abdullah Al Ashwal, donor relations officer at Qatar Charity.
