Coronavirus: Qatar Charity renews monthly aid for all beneficiaries for three months
Qatar Charity (QC) decided to automatically renew the monthly aid disbursement to all of its registered beneficiaries, whose entitlements are due to expire soon, for the next three months without the need to appear in person.
The move came to facilitate the provision of monthly aid to beneficiaries, including hundreds of families with limited income, widows and divorced women, within the country, as part of precautionary measures taken by the State of Qatar, which asks everyone to stay at home to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) in the country.
This monthly assistance falls within the social welfare efforts of Qatar Charity to support low-income families within the country to improve their standards of living, especially in light of the conditions created by the Coronavirus pandemic. The move also came within the framework of its responsivity towards society, in line with the directives of staying at home.
It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity pays great attention to the development of society in various fields according to the Qatar National Vision 2030, especially social welfare, by providing assistance to people with low incomes, widows, divorced women, patients and others, in addition to implementing projects and activities for families and individuals to develop their capabilities.
Qatar Charity implements several programs and projects for the local community that annually benefit thousands of low-income families, workers, orphans, and Asian expatriate communities, aiming to promote the culture of doing good, helping those in need, developing the skills and capabilities of participants through holding workshops and training courses under its different community development centers.
