Qatar Charity organized an event at "Ain Helitan" at Al Khor Corniche, which included entertainment and heritage activities, and competitions to enhance the value of loyalty and belonging to the homeland.

 This was in conjunction with other events organized in Aspire Park and Katara Cultural Village.

Honoring

During the event, the guest of honor, Dr. Ahmed bin Hamad Al Hassan Al Mohannadi, a member of the Shura Council, was honored by Mr. Faisal bin Rashid Al Fahida, Assistant CEO of the Programs and Community Development Sector.

Dr. Al-Mohannadi presented the shield to the people of Al Khor, considering his honor a tribute to the city.

Dr. Ahmed bin Hamad Al-Mohannadi expressed his happiness with the events and activities that reflect the importance and value of this great national occasion and enhance belonging to the homeland, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the good organization and support of national celebrations.

For his part, the journalist Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mohannadi said that Qatar Charity's participation in such events organized at the state level highlights its role in community service and contributes to introducing the culture of humanitarian work and the patterns of its activities.

For her part, Ms. Fatima Al-Mohannadi, Director of Local Programs and Community Development at Qatar Charity, said that celebrating National Day is one of the beautiful aspects that can be invested in reviving heritage, raising children’s awareness of their heritage.

Audience impressions

The audience interacted with the event, where Mr. Jaber Youssef Jaber Nasr, an employee of the Ministry of Municipality, said that Qatar Charity excelled in its celebration and presented beautiful activities that attracted children, made families happy, and brought joy and pleasure to all attendees.
