Qatar Charity (QC) is preparing to hold the closing ceremony for the third season of its ‘Khair Homes’ program, which is a competition for Qatari families in doing good, in conjunction with Qatar Charity’s Ramadan campaigns. The program is annually held through creative activities coming within the scope of community entrepreneurship.

Qatar Charity has received the proceeds of family exhibitions implemented by households during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, which were reviewed by the program committee to ensure their compliance with the already specified terms and conditions.

As many as 8 families contested in the third edition of the program. They designed their exhibitions and implemented their various projects, as participants of the competition.

The first three families, who managed to collect the largest profits from their family exhibitions, will be honored, in addition to the three families who excelled in the field of entrepreneurship and designing a creative idea in the corner of their homes.

There were many criteria for the participants to be winners in the competition, including producing by participating families, getting children involved, selling products, and using recyclable materials in designing the corner.

Qatar Charity, through this program, is keen to get involved all the sections of the community in charitable work.

It is worth mentioning that the program is competition for Qatari families to promote humanitarian values and support charitable projects. Each family allocates and designs a corner, as a charitable exhibition, at home, where produced materials (sweets and toys) are sold. The family invites relatives and their children to visit the corner and buy the items. The profits are collected to implement a charitable project, chosen by the families.
