Qatar Charity to launch 2021 annual impact report

Qatar Charity (QC) and the Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies will co-organize an event today at Doha institute for graduate studies to launch Qatar Charity’s 2021 annual impact report.

The event will be attended by Her Excellency Mrs. Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, Minister of Social Development and Family of the State of Qatar. The event will also involve the participation of H.E. Dr. Ahmed Al Muraikhi, Special Adviser to UN Secretary-General on Public Private Partnerships and Islamic Financing and Mr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Charity.

The ceremony will include a review of the most important achievements of Qatar Charity in 2021.

Following the launch of Qatar Charity’s Annual Impact Report 2021, a panel discussion will be hosted, bringing together representatives from donor agencies, UN entities, and academia to discuss ‘The Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus’.

The panel discussion will have speakers who are Dr. Ghassan Elkahlout, Director of Director of Center for Conflict and Humanitarian Studies, Mr. Mohamed AlGhamdi, Chief Governance Officer and Director of External Affairs Office, Qatar Charity, and Mr. Biplove Choudhary, Technical Representative and Head of Office, United Nations Development Programme.

The event will be livestreamed on CHS and Qatar Charity's social media platforms. Simultaneous interpretation between English and Arabic will be available.
