In the light of community partnership and in support of the educational projects,
the International Center for Physical Therapy presented to Qatar Charity as a donation for building "Al-Shaimaa" Secondary Girls’ School in the Gaza Strip.

Mr. Salman Kaldary, the Executive Director for Local Development in Qatar Charity, stated that Qatar Charity aims to support both charity work and sport and to raise the sport awareness of the Qatari people.  He adds that Qatar Charity exerts an effort to support the charity work and the development and humanitarian projects through building a school in Gaza.

We are delighted to announce that The International Physiotherapy Centre has made a generous donation to Qatar Charity’s “Cyclists for Education” initiative.

We would like to thank both The International Physiotherapy Centre and all those involved, and look forward to future contributions for this worthy cause in the future.

This is the 3rd consecutive year for “Cyclists for Education”,  an ongoing initiative to support efforts to provide educational facilities & equipment in highly disadvantaged areas. This donation will go towards the construction of a Secondary School for girls in the Gaza Strip.

This Qatar Charity initiative to support educational projects in the community is run in collaboration with both Qatar Sandstorms and Qatar Cycling Centre. Over the last 2 years, significant funds for this initiative have been raised by a team of cyclists from Qatar participating in a number of sponsored international challenges. They have cycled nearly 2,000 km in total, at altitudes of up to 5,000 km, in order to raise funds.

The International Physiotherapy Centre (www.theipcentre.com), with clinics in both Markhiya  and Waab aims to set new standards for rehabilitative care in Qatar for all types of injuries, pain and physical issues.
