Qatar Charity (QC) Receives In-Kind Donations from Schools

QC received in-kind donations from schools and kindergartens in favor of "Our Greetings” campaign and in recognition of workers role and great efforts in building Qatar and its infrastructure.

Gratitude

Mr. Ali Al Gharib, Head of the Local Developmental Centers at QC, said that the campaign launched by QC aims at helping low-income workers as a recognition of their great role in building Qatar, creating complementary relationship in the community and strengthening the social fabric.

Mr. Al Gharib added that QC is proud of its partnership with secondary and high schools inside Qatar, stressing that QC adopts all the projects and ideas submitted by students regardless of their levels of study and age.

Al Marah Kindergarten

QC received in-kind donations from "Al Marah Fi Aljewar" including clothing materials and thus Mr. Al Gharib presented his sincere thanks to Kid'n Around Kindergarten, pointing out that this donation is a clear indication of the volunteering and charity work in a society and confirming that inculcating such noble virtues in the hearts of young children will create initiative generations.

Dar Es Salaam School

In a related context, the Indian Dar Es Salaam School, in collaboration with Qatar Charity Community Development Centre, launched an initiative of collecting amounts of used and suitable clothing to distribute on workers in Qatar. Mr. Al Gharib received the donations from the school headmaster in the presence of Mr. Abdullatif Abdullah Hussein, Director of School Management Committee, who praised the efforts of the school students and administration for their continued cooperation with QC.

Greetings for you

It is noteworthy that QC had launched its campaign, " Greetings for you," for workers since years, where thousands of workers benefited from the personal care tools that QC distributed on them on different occasions.

“YESTAHLOON” (They Deserve Better)

QC had also supported many initiatives for the benefit of workers; the latest campaign was “YESTAHLOON” (They Deserve Better), which was launched before the month of Ramadan. It enabled individuals and companies to buy shopping vouchers from TAYF, In-Kind Donations Program, and distribute them on workers in different regions.
