Thousands of beneficiaries of the “Your Udhiyah fulfills your impact” campaign outside the State of Qatar

With the support of the people of Qatar, Qatar Charity was able to distribute 37,901 Udhiya, benefiting more than 758,000 people.

The project was implemented to expand to the poor and needy in camps for the displaced and refugees in crisis areas and the poorest communities in 39 countries around the world, such as the Syrian interior, Palestine, Sudan, Yemen, and Somalia. Benin, Pakistan, Somalia, Burundi, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kosovo, Turkey, Montenegro, Nepal, Tunisia, Senegal, Nigeria, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Ghana, Mali, India, Gambia, Morocco, Lebanon, Malaysia, Jordan, South Africa, Niger, , the Philippines, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Djibouti, and Mauritania

At the end of its campaign, Qatar Charity extended its thanks and appreciation to everyone who donated to the campaign

Qatar Charity also called on donors to continue their support for its ongoing relief and development projects and campaigns throughout the year.

The project was praised by many government agencies in appreciation of Qatar Charity’s efforts. These authorities thanked the people of Qatar for their humanitarian role in supporting the needy and the poor around the world and succeeding in alleviating their suffering.

In Somalia, Mr. Mahmoud Muallem, Director of the Somali Disaster Management Authority, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Qatar Charity for its support and interest in improving the conditions of needy communities.

In Pakistan, Minister Sardar Zia Qamar expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Qatar Charity. He also thanked Qatar Charity teams and donors from the people of Qatar for the success of the project.

The project left an impact on the hearts of the beneficiaries, who expressed they’re thanks to the State of Qatar for their support and appreciated Qatar Charity's continuous efforts.

Yemen

5,700 families benefited from the project in Yemen, as the number of beneficiaries reached about forty thousand, as the aid was distributed to several governorates, including Sana'a, Taiz, Dhamar, Ibb.

In this context, Khaled Al-Mahfadi, one of the beneficiaries, said: "I came from a far place to receive the Udhiya because I was unable to buy. The joy of Eid was complete with the happiness of my children Thanks to Qatar Charity."

Pakistan

21,000 people benefited from the project in Pakistan, including those affected by the floods. In this context, Mr. Muhammad Shiraz said: “I lost my livestock in the floods of 2022, and I am helpless now, and I have no source of income. Thank you to the people in Qatar and Qatar Charity for the support they provided me with this Eid".

Somalia

Qatar Charity distributed 8,412 Udhiya for the benefit of more than 200,000 people, including orphans and displaced and needy families.

Muhammad Youssef, one of the beneficiaries, said: "We are facing very difficult circumstances and we cannot even get our daily sustenance, but thanks to Qatar Charity, we celebrated Eid. Thank you to the people in Qatar and Qatar Charity."
