Aamal, in cooperation with the Qatar Cycling Federation, announced the organization of 88 Aamal Ride 2023 on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Health and humanitarian goals
Aamal Company invites the public to participate in this event, which will all start in the city of Lusail, as it contributes to integrating sports with humanitarian work in addition to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people, The registration profits will go to the Qatar Charity campaign for Palestine.
Route Details
Long Distance loop of 85km starts at 6:45 from Lusail, the rider should be an expert and fit cyclist who can maintain at least +25 km/ hr. average speed strictly +16 years old, national team cadets are exempt, rod bikes only.
Middle Distance Loop-56 km Start at 8:30, expert and fit cyclists who can maintain at least +22 km/ hr. average speed. Strictly +16 years old national team cadets are exempt preferably rod bikes.
Short Distance Loop-14 Km starts at 9:00 for anyone who knows how to ride a bike and has good road awareness. all kinds of bikes are allowed except for TT bikes.
Inclusive Ride Distance 1,6Km Start at 9:15 am no matter who you are or if you are new to cycling this ride is open to you and great for families or anyone who would like to ride for fun.

Regarding the cost of participating in the event, Aamal explained that the cost of participation in the long Distance is 250 Qatari riyals, and in the medium Distance is 200 Qatari riyals. As for the short Distance, is 100 Qatari riyals, while the value of the inclusive Distance is free.
Terms of Participation
Aamal stated the conditions for participation in this event, as it asked each participant to provide their own bike, The participation bag will be received from the collection booth in City Center Doha, and a valid ID card (ID/passport) must be presented.
Jersey sizes will be allocated on a first-come basis.
Each rider will receive a jersey and a bib number which must be worn on the day of the ride.
If you are collecting on behalf of someone else, you must present a letter and a copy of the rider’s ID that shows you have permission to take receipt of the item on their behalf.
