Qatar Charity (QC) concluded the second edition of "Tamkeen" - the Business Incubator Program, which was launched in September under the slogan “Tomorrow’s Success We Make Today” to provide support to individuals with ideas and small projects. The program came in cooperation with many partners to help participants develop their necessary practical skills and capabilities.

During the closing ceremony of the program, the five winning projects were announced.

Mr. Faisal Rashid al-Fehaida, CEO's assistant for the Programs and Community Development sector at Qatar Charity, honored the partners of the program during the closing ceremony. They are the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Qatar Development Bank, Nama Social Center, First International Development For Consulting, and ConvoSync Solutions.

Speaking at the ceremony, al-Fehaida congratulated the participants who successfully completed the program, hoping that the program would serve as a significant catalyst for the participants to launch their own projects and enter the market.

He said, "The achievements accomplished by the ‘Tamkeen’ program would not have been possible without the collaboration with several partners. We at Qatar Charity emphasize our strong commitment to cooperating with all institutions, companies, and authorities to contribute to the development of our community."

The training program included 14 specialized technical, managerial, and skill development workshops. These workshops covered various topics aimed at enhancing and developing the practical skills necessary to transform individuals' ideas into successful business projects that add economic value to society.

The training program benefited 30 productive families, including both men and women. The winners of the program expressed their joy, stating that they benefited greatly from it.

Hessa Al-Sahel stated that the program helped her crystallize the project idea, develop a feasibility study, manage, and market it. She also indicated that it also assisted her in finding solutions to all the challenges she faced.

For his part, Mr. Almarri said, “I benefited greatly from the workshops held within the framework of the “Tamkeen” program, which contributed to developing my skills by 180 degrees,” noting that he learned how to manage projects and avoid potential risks.

He also thanked Qatar Charity for its efforts in organizing the program, expressing his wish that others would participate in the program's workshops to develop the necessary personal skills.
