Qatar Charity (QC) hosted a vibrant fun day for over 500 sponsored orphans from Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Jammu & Kashmir provinces. The event featured a lively mix of sports, creative competitions, and interactive educational activities — all carefully designed to boost the children’s positivity and confidence.

This initiative is part of Qatar Charity’s ongoing efforts to provide holistic care for orphans, not only by meeting their essential needs but also by bringing joy to their hearts, nurturing their talents, and fostering their growth in a warm, inspiring environment.

The fun day featured a diverse range of engaging activities, including popular sports such as cricket, badminton, and football, alongside a variety of individual and team competitions such as running, rope skipping, debates, tableau performances, painting, and several other interactive segments designed to promote creativity, teamwork, and physical well-being.

In addition, a awareness walk was organized to highlight the rights of orphaned children and to advocate for their protection, inclusion, and empowerment within society.

The orphans expressed heartfelt gratitude to their sponsors and Qatar Charity for organizing a day that brought both joy and inspiration.

Sehar Sarfraz, a 14-year-old girl, said, "I lost my father at a very young age. Since then, Qatar Charity has supported my education and healthcare. I participate in all its programs and events with great enthusiasm.”

Nine-year-old Ahmed Gul echoed her excitement, saying, “I am passionate about boxing and dream of becoming a professional boxer one day. I am thankful to Qatar Charity and my sponsors for supporting my dreams.”

Six-year-old girl Maham Javed also shared her enjoyment, "I love painting and playing with colors. These activities are so much fun — full of creativity and joy."

It is worth mentioning that the number of those sponsored through Qatar Charity’s ‘Rofaqa’ initiative reached 11,884, including 10,904 orphans, 362 needy families, 281 people with special needs, and 337 higher education students.
