Qatar Charity provided winterization kits to orphaned students and their families in Bangladesh, benefiting a total of 11,000 individuals.
The initiative aims to provide essential warmth and comfort during the cold winter, ensuring that vulnerable communities are protected from harsh weather conditions.
The winterization kits, which included blankets, jackets, and hoodies, were distributed from QC’s 13 orphan care centers, reaching a significant number of students and their families in need.
Many of the recipients of the winterization kits expressed deep gratitude for the timely aid, highlighting how the program has made a tangible difference in their lives.
“I am very thankful to Qatar Charity for providing us with these winter clothes. My children were struggling with the cold, but now they have warm jackets and blankets that will help them stay healthy throughout the winter,“ said Bilkis Akhter, a mother of an orphan who received the kit.
Another beneficiary, Sultan Ahmed, an orphan student, shared his appreciation: “The new jackets and blankets I received make me feel safe and warm. I can now focus on my studies without worrying about the cold. Qatar Charity’s help means a lot to me and my family.“
Rabeya Begum, another student, also expressed her gratitude: “I’m thankful for the help, and it gives me hope for the future.“
