Helping a person in debt is one of the virtues for which we are rewarded

A person goes through circumstances that push him to ask for a loan in the hope that it will alleviate the burdens of life, but the money he borrowed may become a cause of his suffering and distress. This is the case of hundreds who suffer greatly because of debts they cannot pay. The debtor who cannot repay his debt is one of the categories for which Islam makes assistance one of the virtues for which its doer is rewarded to preserve society’s balance and humankind’s safety and stability. Instead, he made the obligatory Zakat spend on helping them
