Life was harsh for young Mizanur Rahman in the ‘Achuavata’ village located in ‘Rajshahi’, a northern city of Bangladesh. He lost his father at the age of four, leaving his mother to raise five children alone. Amid the struggle, she noticed his passion for learning and enrolled him in Qatar Charity’s orphan center—a decision that changed everything.

From 1995 onward, the center became his safe haven, providing shelter, education, and care. Mizan thrived, passing Secondary Scholl Certificate examination, with distinction in 2008 and later earning a place at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

Qatar Charity continued to support him with full tuition and a monthly stipend, enabling him to graduate as an engineer with honors. Today, Mizanur Rahman is the director of a leading engineering firm in Bangladesh—a source of pride for his family and community.

Grateful for the support that shaped his life, he pledges to give back: “I owe everything to those who supported my education. I will do my best to serve those in need.”
