Behavioral Guidance Films Project

A community-based competition aimed at filming and producing videos that raise behavioral awareness about the phenomenon of divorce, its impact on the family and society, and ways to reduce divorce—especially during the first year of marriage. The competition also focuses on how to build a successful and happy family that contributes to the advancement and development of society.

Goals

  1. Addressing a range of negative behaviors and phenomena associated with marriage.
  2. Deepening public awareness of the negative phenomena that hinder the formation of a happy and successful family.
  3. Preventive and therapeutic awareness of the harms of divorce and its negative effects on society.
  4. Working to solve problems and guide the local community.

Outputs

  1. Producing a series of films focused on behavioral awareness about the harms of divorce and family disintegration
  2. Engaging the community in the production of awareness and behavioral adjustment films
  3. Contributing to the implementation of Qatar’s 2023 Vision, particularly its three pillars (economic, social, and environmental)
  4. Creating a generation of Qatari youth that preserves social and family heritage, as well as Qatari customs and traditions
  5. Organizing workshops with the participation of competition entrants

Entry Requirements

  • The participant must be residing in Qatar.
  • The participant must register to enter the competition.
  • The video must focus on divorce and its harms, especially during the first year of marriage.
  • The film duration must be between 3 to 5 minutes.
  • The video must be filmed with high quality and resolution.
  • The film must not have participated in any previous competition, screening, or media platform.
  • The winning film will become the property of Qatar Charity, which has the right to use it in any way and on any platform or website.
  • Participation is open to individuals, community initiatives, and content creators.
  • Each participant is allowed to submit only one entry.
  • Participants must adhere to Qatari customs and traditions in their filming.
  • It is prohibited to offend Islamic values or express political opinions.
  • Participants must comply with proper dress code and Islamic hijab during filming.
  • The judging panel has the right to disqualify any entry that violates the standards.
  • The decisions of the judging panel are final and not subject to appeal.
  • The deadline for submission is January 30, 2025.

  1. 1st Place: 15,000 Qatari Riyals
  2. 2nd Place: 12,000 Qatari Riyals
  3. 3rd Place: 10,000 Qatari Riyals
  4. 4th Place: 8,000 Qatari Riyals
  5. 5th Place: 6,000 Qatari Riyals
  6. 6th to 10th Place: 5,000 Qatari Riyals each
