Qatar Charity Honored for Its Social Impact at GCC Ministerial Meetings in Kuwait

Qatar Charity (QC) was honored in a ceremony accompanying the ministerial meetings of Their Excellencies the Ministers and Heads of Civil Service, Labor, and Social Affairs Agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, which took place in the State of Kuwait.

The honorary shield was received by Mr. Yousuf bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, CEO of Qatar Charity, in the presence of several high-level dignitaries, including HE Mr. Shaikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the State of Kuwait, and HE Mr. Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the GCC. Present also in the event were HE Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, Qatar’s Minister of Labor, HE Ms. Buthaina bint Ali Al Nuaimi, Qatar’s Minister of Social Development and Family, and HE Mr. Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa, President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, along with other distinguished guests.

Qatar Charity was recognized as one of Qatar’s leading civil society organizations in the social and humanitarian sectors. The honor highlights its outstanding efforts in the fields of charitable and social work, as well as its tangible positive impact both locally and internationally. It also underscores the organization’s deep-rooted commitment to fulfilling its humanitarian responsibilities and achieving the goals of sustainable development.

It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity was honored in May with the prestigious Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Housing Award for the 2024–2025 cycle, during the 23rd GCC Housing Ministers Meeting held in Kuwait. The organization was recognized in the category of private sector and charitable organizations.
