1/21/2026

Qatar Charity opened a charity exhibition last Thursday at the Regency Halls, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting the Palestinian people. The opening was attended by Mr. Ahmed Yousef Fakhro, Executive Director of Communication and Community Impact at Qatar Charity, and Mr. Abdul Aziz Jassim Hajji, Executive Director of International Operations, underscoring the executive management's support for humanitarian and community initiatives.

Variety and Affordable Prices

The exhibition targets women and children exclusively, featuring a wide and diverse range of products including clothing, handicrafts, toys, and food. This year, multiple halls have provided a comfortable and comprehensive shopping experience for families.
For the first time, the exhibition includes an entire outlet hall showcasing new products at discounted prices, in addition to a dedicated hall for games and recreational activities for children. This allows mothers to shop comfortably and reinforces the family-oriented nature of the event. On this occasion, Mr. Ahmed Yousef Fakhro said: “We are delighted to open this charity exhibition, the proceeds of which will be dedicated entirely to supporting Palestine.”

He added: “We believe in the importance of community initiatives that allow everyone to contribute to humanitarian work, and we appreciate the efforts of the teams and volunteers in making this exhibition a success. We ask God to place this work on the scales of good deeds for everyone involved.”
For her part, Ms. Kaltham Al-Emadi, the organizer of the charity market, affirmed that this exhibition is a great collective effort, noting that the team made continuous efforts to ensure the success of this humanitarian initiative.

Al-Emadi added that her connection to the Palestinian cause began in her childhood, emphasizing that every visitor to the exhibition contributes directly to supporting Palestine by participating in this charitable event. She explained that this year’s exhibition is distinguished by a wide variety of goods on display, stressing that all products are new and carefully selected to meet the needs of women and children. She explained that the exhibition is spread across two main halls and an outdoor area, in addition to a dedicated children's hall. She noted that the diversity encompasses all sections, both in terms of the types of exhibits and the participating organizations. She said, "Every section is diverse, and everything is new and excellent. This year, for the first time, we have a complete outlet section."

For her part, Dr. Latifa Al-Darwish, a volunteer and participant in the charity market, expressed the importance of these humanitarian initiatives that combine giving with community work. She emphasized that such events are not limited to fundraising but also contribute to establishing a culture of solidarity and social responsibility, especially considering the difficult humanitarian conditions faced by the Palestinian people.
Al-Darwish pointed out that the charity market represents a positive space for interaction, allowing the community to actively participate in supporting humanitarian causes through simple yet impactful initiatives. She affirmed that the high turnout at the exhibition reflects the community's awareness and eagerness to contribute to charitable work. This exhibition comes as part of Qatar Charity's ongoing efforts to diversify its humanitarian work tools and create community initiatives that contribute to supporting those in need and promote the values of solidarity and mutual support by involving various segments of society in the journey of giving.
