Sustainable Solar-Powered Solutions
A further 255 solar-powered water pumps were installed, including 54 in Sindh, 30 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 171 in Punjab. These pumps benefited more than 138,813 people, particularly in local communities, schools and healthcare facilities.

At a school in Jhang district, Punjab, 12-year-old Iram Allah Dita said the installation of a solar-powered water pump had provided students with a reliable source of drinking water after the school had struggled with limited access to safe water.
For her part, Umamah Solangi, Assistant Commissioner of Khairpur, stressed the importance of cooperation with humanitarian organizations to provide safe drinking water to rural communities, particularly amid extreme temperatures and changing climatic conditions.
