Minister of Culture and Sports honors winners in "Future’s Writers-3"
HE the Minister of Culture and Sports Mr. Salah bin Ghanem Al-Ali praised Qatar Charity’s “Future’s Writers” program, noting that it came in the appropriate time and place, because it produces a generation of future writers.
In a statement at the conclusion of the 30th Doha International Book Fair 2020, which ended on Saturday , he told that he has been following this program since its inception and it has succeeded in launching many books written by children, adding that he was impressed by the quality and language of some books he has seen.
He further emphasized the importance of the continuation of this program to make a real addition to the cultural arena of the country for the service of society.
Besides, the Minister honored the winners in the “Future’s Writers-3”, who singed their printed books at Qatar Charity’s pavilion at the fair.
For her part, the assistant undersecretary for educational affairs of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ms. Fawzia Abdulaziz Al-Khater, said, “The Future’s Writers is among the most significant programs that the Ministry focusses on, in cooperation with Qatar Charity, as it supports human thought and enhances students ’skills and motivates them to read.”
The winners along with their parents expressed their delight at being honored, and thanked Qatar Charity and schools for their efforts that took them to this level, affirming that this honor will keep them on the path of further successes and achievements.
