Qatar Charity launches distance-teaching and training platform

Qatar Charity (QC) has launched ‘Noon’, a distance-teaching, training and empowering platform, to meet the cultural, education and social needs of society in this time of adversity, in cooperation with official bodies and qualified cadres, including volunteers.

The launch of the platform' came by offering a distance course to remotely teach the Holy Quran and the phonetic rules of Qur'anic recitation.

The carefully planned platform focuses on three main aspects: education, training and Economic empowerment. Each aspect will have dedicated programs implemented in succession, providing electronic curricula, personal training and electronic volunteering. The programs target men, women, children, productive families, persons with special needs, orphans, and volunteers.

Qatar Charity invites applicants to register in the Quran course through the following link

The distance Holy Quran teaching and memorizing course is implemented in cooperation with the qualified Quran memorizers capable of teaching the Holy Quran and the phonetic rules of Qur'anic recitation in an easy and interesting manner, using modern technology.

Starting on August 9, 2020, the course, which targets 200 persons in all age groups, including men and women, offers individual and group classes, with eight classes per month. The course will be delivered from Saturday to Thursday in two shifts, morning from 9 AM to 12 PM, and evening shift from 4 PM to 7 PM. It allows direct interaction with the teacher.

The Holy Quran course includes teaching Qaida Noorania, and the phonetic rules of Qur'anic recitation, in addition to upgrading courses for students' parents. Persons with simple intellectual disabilities are also encouraged to participate in the course with the help of parents.

Qatar Charity has launched this course after the Holy Quran Memorization Centers were closed due to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-91) pandemic, which forced children to stay home for their safety. This distance course serves social distancing and benefit participants in the period of staying home, especially during the summer vacation.
