Qatar Charity (QC) remains open for receiving Zakat al-Fitr and generous donations from Zakat and charitable givers, through its Al Hilal branch until shortly before the Eid al-Fitr prayer. Meanwhile, all other branches continue to receive them until midnight on the last day of the holy month. Additionally, collection points are operational until the closing time of commercial complexes on the same day.

Qatar Charity also facilitates the reception of Zakat al-Fitr through its website https://qch.qa/z-fitr or via the mobile app (qch.qa/appen). Furthermore, it accepts all types of Zakat and charitable contributions through easy and accessible methods throughout the year via the digital portal of Qatar Charity. This platform provides integrated solutions for individuals and companies to calculate and pay various types of Zakat. Additionally, Zakat can be paid through the website (https://qch.qa/zakat-en) and the app (https://qch.qa/ezakaty).

Additionally, Qatar Charity’s Zakat Section, through an expert, provides calculation services for all types of Zakat for both individuals and businesses, and address financial inquiries related to Zakat.

Qatar Charity urges generous benefactors in Qatar to donate during the last ten days of this holy month, when rewards are multiplied, to benefit those in need.  It also encourages them to direct their Zakat and charity towards Gaza and Palestine, considering the challenging humanitarian circumstances the people face there, especially with the escalating suffering in Gaza each day. This necessitates standing by them, easing their hardships, and helping address the prevalent gap in their essential needs.

Working Hours

To facilitate giving in this blessed month, branches operate extended hours. The Al Hilal branch continues to receive donations from 8:30 AM until just before the Eid prayer. Other branches operate in two shifts: the first from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and the second from 8:30 PM until midnight.

Collections Points

Qatar Charity has 33 branches, including 22 branches for men and 11 branches for women, across the country. Additionally, there are 94 collection points and sites to receive contributions from generous donors. Furthermore, Qatar Charity has 2209 fixed collection boxes and 47 automatic donation machines across all areas of the country.
