Pakistan's maritime boundaries are defined by its coastline along the Arabian Sea and its interactions with neighboring countries India, Iran, and Oman.

Pakistan has a border on the coast along the Arabian Sea. It is separated from Tajikistan by the narrow Wakhan corridor of Afghanistan in the north. It also shares a maritime border with Oman.

Pakistan is strategically located at the confluence of South Asia, the Middle East and Central Asia. India is in the northeast, Afghanistan to the west, Iran to the southwest, China to the northeast, and the coast along the Arabian Sea.

Pakistan faces frequent and prolonged disasters and crises, with climate change significantly impacting vulnerabilities, especially for women and children. Pakistan is facing multiple recurrent and protracted risks, including natural disasters and economic challenges. 

These risks are further exacerbated by climate change, political instability, and existing vulnerabilities. 

Natural Disasters are flooding, hurricanes, flash floods, landslides, avalanches, epidemics, droughts and extreme weather. Economic Challenges are debt crisis, inflation, and economic instability. Other Risks are climate change, humanitarian crisis, and security situation.
