About Pakistan

  It is one of South-East Asia countries, and is officially called the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. It is the fifth country in the world and the second largest Muslim country in terms of its population that exceeds 212 million people. It is also the 33rd largest country in the world in terms of its area, which amounts to 881,913 square kilometres.
  Pakistan is a federal parliamentary republic, based on a federal government along with provincial governments. The country includes four provinces: Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Baluchistan and Azad Kashmi. It is an ethnically and linguistically diverse country, with a similar difference in its geography and wildlife.
  The government of Pakistan estimates that there are about 7 million Pakistanis living abroad; whereas, the majority reside in the Middle East, Europe and North America.
