As part of this year's Dhul-Hijjah Campaign, Qatar Charity launched the "Feeding is Life" initiative, aimed at providing essential food supplies to the vulnerable in several African and Asian countries grappling with food insecurity due to disasters, crises, conflicts, and poverty. The organization urged benevolent individuals to donate generously during these blessed days to its relief projects.

This initiative aims to deliver food baskets with essential supplies to combat malnutrition in targeted countries. It focuses on supporting malnourished children, reducing mortality rates among children under five caused by acute and chronic malnutrition, improving nutrition for pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, and strengthening the ability of impoverished families to fight acute hunger. Aligned with Sustainable Development Goals, particularly ending poverty and hunger, the initiative will provide humanitarian aid across multiple nations.

International humanitarian estimates indicate that nearly 800 million people still suffer from malnutrition and undernourishment. Among the most vulnerable, 156 million children face severe risks due to these conditions.

Qatar Charity called on generous donors to seize the opportunity of these blessed days, considered the most virtuous of the year, to support vulnerable families with food, save malnourished children, and ensure dignified lives for them through this initiative.

Generous individuals can donate to the “Feeding is Life” initiative through Qatar Charity's website (https://qch.qa/itaamEn) and app (https://qch.qa/appen).

Alternatively, donations can be made through the "Home Collector" service on the app, by calling 44290000, or at Qatar Charity’s branches and collection points in shopping malls.
