Alongside the onset of the last ten days of Ramadan, Qatar Charity (QC) calls on benefactors in Qatar to support Al Hayah City, the Largest Multi-Service City for Orphans, aiming to provide an ideal educational environment and a safe and suitable living for orphans, while meeting all their living requirements. The city will be a residential educational city for orphans. it is to be established in Istanbul, Turkiye, providing basic education for 2000 students, including 1200 resident orphans from various countries around the world, as well as 800 non-resident orphans who will benefit from its diverse educational and health services. The city aims to provide a social educational environment dedicated to caring for orphans by offering the necessary support to ensure essential services, especially education. It seeks to facilitate learning under favorable conditions, and to provide services that help in developing the capabilities, talents, skills of young people and adolescents. The city also facilitates collaborative learning among orphans, enabling them to interact with peers from diverse backgrounds and gain insight into the unique challenges faced in different countries. Moreover, it offers a range of essential social and recreational services within its premises to enhance the overall well-being and development of its residents. The city will span over 88,000 square meters. It will have a school, two student dormitories, a dining hall, workshop and training buildings, indoor and outdoor sports facilities, a swimming pool, a mosque, a garden, and green spaces, as well as administrative, guest, and reception buildings and a big meeting hall. Qatar Charity to launch ‘27th

As part of its Ramadan campaign "Endless Giving", Qatar Charity (QC) will launch tomorrow, Wednesday, a three-day ‘27th Night Challenge', which is considered to be the largest fundraising event on YouTube. It aims to raise QR 50 million to build Al Hayah City, the world’s largest multi-service city for orphans. The ‘27th Night Challenge' event will take place in the Wisdom Square at the Katara Cultural Village, with the participation of social media influencers, who are Abdulla AlGhafri, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Harami, and Mohamad Adnan. It will start on Wednesday (the 25th night of Ramadan) and will end on Friday (the 27th night of Ramadan) at midnight. The challenge comes during the Last Ten Days of Ramadan, which are the most auspicious nights, reflecting Qatar Charity's commitment to raising awareness about humanitarian issues and mobilizing support for qualitative charitable projects, including those dedicated to orphans, through a group of influencers and digital platforms. Mr. Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO's assistant for the Resources Development and Media sector, urged benefactors in Qatar, including companies, individuals, and organizations, to compete in goodness and acts of charity in order to reap the abundant rewards of Ramadan’s auspicious nights.
