The two-month-long summer program organized by Qatar Charity's Community Development Center of Al Khor received remarkable interaction from the participants. The program is part of the 2023 summer activities launched by Qatar Charity, in cooperation with many bodies, including Al Khor and Al Thakhira Municipality, and some certified trainers.

The program, which was participated in by 55 students, included a variety of educational, recreational, social, and sports activities, as well as training workshops and field trips aimed at enhancing the students' knowledge and developing their various skills and abilities.

The program aims to develop the behavioral and personal skills of the participants, promote cultural heritage among them, make productive use of time in beneficial hobbies that boost youth skills. Additionally, it aims to connect Qatari youth with Qatar Charity's events and activities that align with their interests, build a balanced personality for the students, and boost self-confidence.

As part of the program's activities, the participating students engaged in the cleaning of Al Khor Corniche, taking the necessary health precautions. They collected waste from the corniche and placed it in designated areas, thereby recognizing the importance of conserving the country’s facilities and contributing to the cleanliness of public spaces.

The students distributed water, juices, and fruits to workers at their workplaces, sensing the value of mercy and solidarity, and appreciating their efforts in serving the country. Additionally, entertaining trips were organized for the participants. They included various activities such as swimming training, table tennis, baby foot, and other activities.

Similarly, skills related to problem-solving and dealing with challenges were also incorporated into the workshops. Trainer Jaber Al-Marri conducted a training workshop titled "Problem Solving", which covered how to identify, deal with, and find solutions to problems.  Additionally, trainer Salah Al-Yafei conducted a workshop on how to develop imagination and creativity and solve problems through the ‘Lego’ game. He expressed his strong admiration for the participants' excellence, enthusiasm, and engagement during the workshop.

At the end of the summer program, Qatar Charity's Community Development Center of Al Khor awarded prizes to the winners of the football league. Moreover, the best goalkeeper, best player, and top scorer of the league were honored, in addition to honoring the collaborators and volunteers in recognition of their role in the success of the program.
