Qatar Charity (QC) has opened six new branches in Muaither, Al Khor, Al Wakrah, and Abu Hamour to work more closely with the Qatari community and facilitate an easy access to donors in their residential areas to make their donations.

With the inauguration of these QC’s collection branches, the number has risen to 25 branches, including 16 branches for men and 9 branches for women across different areas of the country.

Qatar Charity has 92 collection points in markets, malls and hospitals. It also has 1,477 donation boxes, 162 collectors, and 64 electronic donation machines across the country.

Mutab al Marri, executive director of Financial Services at Qatar Charity, said "The opening of these new branches will help serve the community easily by simplifying the donation procedures for citizens and residents, quickly completing their transactions and receiving donations using the best means."

He added that the new branches are expected to receive material and in-kind donations, noting that collection of the resources required for the activities and projects of Qatar Charity, both inside and outside the country, is one of its most important activities.

He also pointed out that the cash and in-kind collection outlets of different types, spread all over the country, are the mainstay of Qatar Charity to bring in the resources and revenues necessary to implement its humanitarian projects, programmes and activities across the globe.

It is worth mentioning that Qatar Charity has a wide network throughout the country to collect cash and in-kind donations, which includes Al Azizia branch, Al Markhia branch, Al Kharaitiyat branch, Al Ruwais branch and many other branches located in Al Wakrah, Al Rayyan, Al Khor, Al Gharafa, Muaither, Al Nasr, Al Hilal, and Abu Hamour.

Also, donations can be made through the Qatar Charity website (https://www.qcharity.org) and its App (qch.qa/q/app).
