Kotteeswari Mahesh, coordinator of arts & designs at a British school in Doha, who extended support in judging the clay modelling, craft installation, and pencil drawing disciplines, emphasized the importance of the fiesta to improve students’ artistic skills and enhance their capabilities.

“I sincerely believe that it is a wonderful platform for students to exhibit their hibernating talents and capabilities and recuperate their creative and artistic skills in-line with nature,” said Mahesh, expressing her delight at seeing innovative, creative and beautiful works of participants, which made it difficult to judge.

“It is really an interesting event and contributes to increasing the knowledge of my child and develops his ability,” said Biji Jose, the mother of Alister Maveld Thomas, participating in clay modeling.

She also pointed out that the fiesta offered a platform to showcase talents to people, as it brings participants from multi-cultures and nationalities, providing an opportunity to learn about different culture across the world, especially Qatari culture and traditions.

“The fiesta is very nice, useful, and nurtures talents in students and creates competitive minds,” said Dana Ali, a student from MES Indian School participating in pencil drawing, noting that she came to know people from other cultures and made new friends.
