Qatar Charity thanks supporters of its ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive

Qatar Charity thanked the institutions, companies and personalities for supporting its ‘Ramadan of Hope’ drive, which has benefited more than two million people in 32 countries worldwide at an estimated cost of 168 million Qatari riyals.

The ‘Ramadan of Hope’ included three main seasonal projects, which were ‘feed the fasting (food baskets and ready-to-eat meals), Zakat Al Fitr, Eid clothing, and aid for crisis-stricken areas.

The list of the Ramadan drive supporters includes companies, banks, commercial complexes, hotels, social figures, volunteer and youth initiatives, and expatriates residing in Qatar.

Government Sector

To implement its social projects during Ramadan Qatar Charity, partnered and cooperated with many bodies from the governmental and semi-governmental sector, including the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities, Al Ruwais Port, Qatar Airways, Protection & Social Rehabilitation Center (AMAN) ​, Al Noor Center For The Blind, in addition to College of the North Atlantic - Qatar and Texas A&M University-Qatar Foundation.

Commercial Entities 

Qatar Charity also thanked the commercial bodies and the banks for supporting the Ramadan campaign. They are Ooredoo, Vodafone, Dukhan Bank, Qatar Islamic Bank, Commercial Bank, Al Hazm, Haider Holding, Apparel Group, Landmark Group, Spar Hypermarket, Lulu Hypermarket, Al Hattab For Food Stuffs, Ansar Gallery, Talabat, Carriage, Snoonu, Bin Yousef Cargo, , Mondrian Hotel, Doha Festival City Hotel, Bari Gallery, AppLab, Al Jaber Watches, Nestle, Karwa, Majoor app, Al Meera, Al Majed Food Stuff, Pharma Pharmacy, McDonald's Qatar, Unilever, Qatar Luxury, Hollister stores, Hayat Plaza Mall, Trails Sport Events, GETCO Group, Athb Lama  Project, Takatuf, L’OCCITANEK, and Floward Aldoha Trading.

Youth Initiatives

Qatar Charity also appreciated the role of the youth initiatives that participated in promoting its Ramadan campaign projects within the framework of ‘Initiatives Challenges’. These initiatives are Shabab 22, Future Compass, Together for Qatar, O Type, Soul Riders, Sanad for Community Services, Qatar Generations, Al Khor Girls Center, Al-Jumayliyah Youth Center, Bosnian Community, and Awfaz Global Schools.
