Qatar Foundation for Social Work and Qatar Charity (QC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of social and humanitarian work and community service.

The MoU was signed by CEO of Qatar Charity Yousef Ahmed Al Kuwari and CEO of Qatar Foundation for Social Work Ahmad Mohammed Al Kuwari in the presence of a number of officials from the two institutions, in addition to a number of media professionals and representatives of various media outlets.

The MoU will organize the support that Qatar Charity will provide to deserving groups through the social centers that fall under the umbrella of Qatar Foundation for Social Work, in addition to joint cooperation in the field of exchanging data, information or reports on target groups.

In a speech on this occasion, QC CEO expressed happiness with this event and said that QC are proud to sign this MoU, which aims to serve the Qatari community, especially with the existence of common goals and target groups for the work of QC and Qatar Foundation for Social Work.

He added that QC is working to help others by harnessing all its energies to build a better society and there is no doubt that cooperation with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work in this field will contribute to achieving that goal.

For his part, CEO of Qatar Foundation for Social Work is keen to open horizons of cooperation with local partners, expressing happiness at signing the MoU with QC, which he pointed out has a remarkable role in humanitarian and social work and a prominent contribution to local affairs. The common goal that unites both institution is to serve the community and empower individuals and families in Qatar, and both work to support the less fortunate and provide assistance and support to them, he added.
