Qatar Charity signs MoU with Rafeeq

Qatar Charity signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rafeeq to cooperate in the field of humanitarian work and community service. The MoU came within the framework of corporate social responsibility.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO's assistant for the Resources Development and Media Sector at Qatar Charity, and Mr. Abdullah Thamer Al- Hemaidi, CEO of Rafeeq.

The agreement is considered to be the largest of its kind in the field of cooperation between Qatar Charity and local companies in Qatar. It aims to build a strategic partnership to support charitable campaigns and projects, and promote the values of giving to serve society.

The agreement focuses on cooperation in the humanitarian field by urging Rafeeq’s customers to donate faster and easier. The two parties agreed that Rafeeq will provide a platform within its app, enabling its user to make donations.  

Mr. Ahmad Yousef Fakhroo, CEO's assistant for the Resources Development and Media Sector at Qatar Charity, expressed his happiness at signing the MoU, considering the agreement the culmination of an extended partnership and continuous work with Rafeeq.

He added that one of the strategic pillars of Qatar Charity is to work and cooperate with all the institutions from the private and public sectors to help others and contribute to building a humane solidary society, indicating that cooperation will contribute to achieving the goals.

Mr. Abdullah Thamer Al- Hemaidi, CEO of Rafeeq, said that the company is keen to cooperate with local partners, expressing his happiness at signing the MoU with Qatar Charity, which plays a remarkable role in the field of humanitarian and social work.

He added that, through this partnership, the company looks forward to supporting humanitarian work, as part of its social responsibility, aiming to contribute to the achievement of the Qatar National Vision 2030 in the field of social and economic development.
