The aid, which is an extension of the Qatari airlift to the sisterly Republic of Sudan, come in response to the urgent appeal of the Sudanese Federal Ministry of Health to meet the need for these specialized medicines. The shipment includes 70 tons of specialized medicines and medical supplies, which were transported via four planes.

He also pointed out that the grant provided by Qatar Charity for the patients with kidney failure will also contribute to meeting the substantial need of approximately 8,000 kidney dialysis patients across different states in Sudan.
