The Initiative “Izdihar”, affiliated with Qatar Charity, concluded its training program for the month of October, which included 5 training workshops that benefited 175 volunteers, as part of continuing its efforts dedicated to raising the capabilities of volunteers and developing their skills.
The implemented workshops are an extension of the efforts of the Initiatives and Volunteering Incubator “Izdihar” in the past months, which will continue in the coming months.
The training workshops for the month of October included various topics, most notably a workshop entitled “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind,” presented by Dr. Hamad Al Kuwari, in which he discussed the levels of the mind and the daily practices that nourish the programming of the subconscious mind.
Beautiful effect
The “Beautiful effect” workshop, presented by Al-Jazi Al-Hanzab, also addressed the foundations and laws of a good life, while Tahani Al-Hajjaji presented a workshop entitled “How to Change Yourself?” It addressed several topics, including how to get out of your box of thoughts, knowing how successful people think, and the power of imagination and positive thinking. Adding mental alertness and its dimensions. The “Programs for Your Life” workshop presented by Muhammad Arhabi also addressed the balance of life, the pre-programming of our minds, how to deal with different personalities, and starting again.
Develop your initiative.
As for the “Develop Your Community Initiative” workshop, in which 35 volunteers participated, it discussed many topics, the most important of which are the concept of community initiative, the social business model, and how to conceptualize the initiative and its activities, in addition to managing tasks and forming the work team. The workshop also addressed the important leadership and administrative skills for implementing initiatives and reviewed the sustainable development goals, economic, and educational dimensions.
Mr. Ahmed Al-Shuaibi, the presenter of the workshop, stated that he was keen during the workshop to train the participants on how to create the initiative and its basics, and to develop an integrated vision for the initiative’s activities, its needs, communication channels, adding that this workshop aspires to instill the idea of an effective member of society, who in turn leaves a positive impact through Volunteering in such community initiatives, in addition to qualifying them with the necessary capabilities and tools that they may need to establish and manage the initiative.
The workshop participants expressed how much they benefited from it, as participant Sharifa Hassan Abdullah said that she benefited greatly from the advanced level of the workshops and learned how to create an initiative that serves the community. She considered that the “Izdihar” incubator provided good opportunities for volunteering, training, and qualification. As for Ahmed Baha El-Din, he said that he participated in several workshops organized by Izdihar and that he benefited greatly from the training program, as he developed his knowledge in the fields of volunteer work and contributed to developing his skills and communication with others through teamwork.
