For his part, Mr. Al Najjar said that cooperation between QC, which is considered one of the most important societies across the Arab world, and Al Jazeera went way back in time. Al Najjar commended the last cooperation agreement between QC and Al Jazeera Network on the occasion of recently holding World Media Summit in Doha. "It was a wonderful gesture from both parties to produce the documentaries which were displayed and the gifts which were distributed; they included handmade products for the needy mothers and female refugees around the world," he commented.

According to the cooperation agreement, QC financed the release of 5 short documentaries on the female refugees and needy women in 5 different countries: Palestine – Gaza; The Democratic Republic of the Congo; Zaatari Refugee Camp in Jordan; Guatemala in South America and Darfur; they were all produced by Al Jazeera.

The 5 videos were displayed during the summit which was hosted by Al Jazeera Network. The videos presented the success stories of such women who struggled against the circumstances and made products so as to sell them and pay for their own expenses.

As an honoring gesture from QC and Al Jazeera for hardworking women, they made a box called Global Heritage Group that was distributed to the attendants of the World Media Summit. Each box had a handmade product and letters that told the stories of each woman. It was meant to encourage such women on to keep moving forward against all odds.
