Carrying a family legacy of dedication and endless giving for charity, Sheikh Hamed Bin Nasser Bin Jassim Al Thani has always had a soft spot for charitable work and humanitarian aid, helping those in need surrounding him.
After graduation as a Bachelor of Law from the Arab University of Beirut in 1993, Sheikh Hamad Bin Nasser held several positions in the ministry of interior, which has significantly served for the betterment of the Qatari society.
In 2001, he was appointed as a Minister of State for Internal Affairs, then a Member and Secretary General of the Qatar Ruling Family Council in 2008.
In 2013, Sheikh Hamad Bin Nasser has been elected to lead the board of directors in Qatar Charity, bringing extensive experience in management, operation and leadership.
Mr Al Marri received his master's degree in science in 1989. Over the course of nearly three decades, he has been most known for his social activism and fond interest in the field of social sciences.
His continuous contributions to the Qatari society led to appointing him as Minister of Endowment and Islamic Affairs in 1996 and 2008.
In recognition of his influential community role at a local and international level alike, he has been elected as Vice Chairman of Board of Directors in Qatar Charity.
Dr. Al-Mohannadi started his exceptional career with a PhD in Law from Southampton University in the United Kingdom in 1999. After serving as a reputable judge in Qatari courts until 1998, Dr. Al-Mohannadi demonstrated a willingness to participate in law-making and helped establish the Department of Legislation in the General Secretariat of the Council of Minister which he then directed from 2001 to 2005. After leaving his outstanding mark in the national judicial system through numerous new laws and legislations, he was finally appointed Minister of Justice in 2013 up until 2018.
He was appointed Director of Legal Affairs at the Emiri Diwan and was elected Minister of Justice in 2013, position he occupied until 2018.
In recognition of his pioneering role in promoting human rights, he has been elected as member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar Charity.
Dr Al Hammadi holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Carolina, as well as a master's degree and PhD in energy engineering from Clarkson University, St. Lawrence, New York, USA.
He distinguished himself as an avant-garde scholar in the academic field, which led to him being appointed Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council in 2013.
In recognition of his educational role and his active participation in the development of education and the dissemination of culture, he has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity.
A notable banker and businessman with a Bachelor of Economics from Qatar University in 1987, Mr Al Mana served as Vice Chairman of Qatar Islamic Bank. He has more than three decades of experience in the economic and banking fields. He is a founding partner and board member of several financial and real estate companies. He is currently the CEO of Aqar Real Estate Investment Company.
Mr Al Mana has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity for the significant value that his financial expertise can bring to the organization.
Mr Al Mahmoud holds a bachelor's degree in Islamic law from Qatar University. He held several positions in the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs. In 2007, he was appointed Under-Secretary then Minister of the Endowment and Islamic Affairs.
Mr Al Mahmoud served as an active member of several boards of directors in the governmental and private sectors in the state of Qatar.
He was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity in recognition of his relentless work in the field of charitable endowment and its impact on the betterment of society.
Mr Al Hajri holds a Bachelor's degree in Management and Economics from Qatar University. He participated in several specialised programs in leadership and economic studies in both John F. Kennedy School of Harvard University in the United States and the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.
He was elected as Head of Studies and Research and Head of Development Studies at the Amiri Diwan until he was appointed Director of Economic and Political Affairs at the Emiri Diwan of the State of Qatar.
He has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Charity in recognition of his contributions to empowering vulnerable communities and helping them find economic and financial stability.
Born in 1959, Mr Al-Abdulghani is a prominent businessman with more than 25 years of leadership experience both in the State of Qatar and abroad. He is currently Vice President of M / S Abdulla Abdul Ghani and brother.
He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Qatar Chamber of Commerce for more than 15 years, an adjunct Board member of the Jalil Group, and the Jalil Commercial and Real Estate Properties in Doha.
He has been elected as a member to the board of Qatar Charity in recognition of his advocacy for humanitarian aid and continuous support for development projects inside and outside Qatar.
Dr Al Muraikhi is a prominent social activist and Islamic preacher who holds a bachelor's degree in Sharia from Qatar University in 1982. He received a master's and PhD degree with excellence in 2010.
In addition to publishing valuable essays and articles that promote humanitarian action on several Qatari newspapers, he is an active host and philanthropist on national media, promoting educational, cultural and social development.
