About Morocco
The Kingdom of Morocco is located in the far west of North Africa between latitudes 21 and 36. It has a coastline of 3,200 km, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the north. Its area is approximately 710,850 square kilometers, distributed over 12 administrative regions. The legal population of the Kingdom, according to the results of the general population and housing census for the year 2024, reached 36,828,330 people on September 1, 2024, of whom 36,680,178 are Moroccans and 148,152 are foreigners.
